Okra weka is a traditional Egyptian dish characterized by its rich flavor and unique texture. This hot dish is usually served with rice and meat or chicken, making it a complete and satisfying meal that brings you the taste of authentic Egyptian cuisine

Ingredients

  • Okra 0.5 Kilogram of Okra
  • Meat soup 2 Cup of Meat soup
  • Butter 2 Tablespoon of Butter
  • garlic 1 Tablespoon of garlic
  • Dry coriander 1 Tablespoon of Dry coriander
  • Ground black pepper 1 Teaspoon of Ground black pepper
  • Salt 1 Teaspoon of Salt

Instructions

    Wash the okra well, then cut it into very thin slices

    Place the broth on the stove and bring it to a boil (use beef or chicken broth, as available). Then add the okra and let it simmer on low heat until fully cooked

    In a small pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter or ghee. Add a tablespoon of minced garlic, dried coriander, black pepper, and salt. Stir well, then add this mixture to the broth and okra

    Stir the mixture well with a hand whisk until it becomes homogeneous

    Serve hot with rice and meat or chicken
