Yellow Koshari is a traditional Egyptian dish that mainly consists of yellow lentils and rice
Ingredients

1.5 Cup of Yellow lentils

2 Cup of rice

1 Teaspoon of Salt

1 Teaspoon of Ground cumin

1 Teaspoon of Curry powder

3 Tablespoon of oil

We wash the lentils and rice to remove the excess starch, then drain them well from the water

In a pot on the stove, heat about 3 tablespoons of oil. Then add the rice and lentils and stir them well. Next, add the spices: a tablespoon each of salt, cumin, curry, and turmeric. Add enough hot water to just cover the rice and yellow lentils, and leave it on low heat until fully cooked

Serve hot with salad and fried eggs to make a complete meal
