Tomato fry

Tomato fry is a traditional dish popular in many Arab countries, especially in the Levant region. It is considered a simple homemade meal that relies on easily available ingredients and is quick to prepare

Ingredients

  • Tomato 6 Piece of Tomato
  • garlic 5 Piece of garlic
  • Chili pepper 2 Piece of Chili pepper
  • olive oil 0.25 Cup of olive oil
  • Salt 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • Ground black pepper 1 Teaspoon of Ground black pepper

Instructions

    Heat the olive oil over medium heat, then add the sliced hot peppers and garlic slices and sauté for two minutes

    After that, add the tomatoes, cut into relatively large pieces, and add the spices to taste (salt, black pepper, cumin). Let the mixture cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft and a thick sauce forms

    Tomato fry can be served with bread and can be garnished with parsley or basil.
