Okra and meat stew is a delicious and nutritious recipe characterized by a delightful blend of fresh okra and meat pieces. This dish is distinguished by its authentic Arab flavor and ease of preparation

Ingredients

  • Okra 0.5 Kilogram of Okra
  • Meat 0.5 Kilogram of Meat
  • Butter 2 Tablespoon of Butter
  • garlic 2 Tablespoon of garlic
  • onion 1 Piece of onion
  • tomato juice 2 Cup of tomato juice
  • Tomato paste 1 Tablespoon of Tomato paste
  • Meat soup 1 Cup of Meat soup
  • Dry coriander 1 Teaspoon of Dry coriander
  • Salt 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • Ground black pepper 1 Teaspoon of Ground black pepper

Instructions

    After washing the meat well, we put it in a pot on the heat after adding a small spoonful of butter or ghee and stirring it well until it changes color. Then we add black pepper and half a teaspoon of sugar and stir it. After that, we cover it with boiling water and add a small onion, carrot slices, bay leaves, and salt. We let it continue cooking until it's done

    After the meat is cooked, in a pot, we add a tablespoon of butter or ghee and add finely chopped onion. Then we add a tablespoon of minced garlic and put salt, black pepper, and dried coriander. Then we add the boiled meat and mix it with the ingredients for two minutes

    Then we add 2 cups of tomato juice and a tablespoon of tomato paste (optional). After that, we add a large cup of beef broth. Then we add the okra and cover the pot, leaving it on low heat for about 20 minutes

    After that, we transfer the meat and okra mixture to a baking dish and place it in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

    Serve hot and optionally add a small spoonful of lemon juice. Serve with white rice with vermicelli

    Note: Seasonings can be adjusted according to taste. You can taste and add salt, black pepper, and paprika before placing it in the oven.
