500 Gram of Filo dough

2 Cup of Pistachio

1 Cup of Butter

1.5 Cup of sugar

1 Piece of Lemon

To prepare the baklava syrup, place one and a half cups of sugar and one and a half cups of water in a pot over medium heat. Allow them to boil until the sugar completely dissolves. Then, add lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of orange blossom water (optional), and let it boil for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly. Allow it to cool to room temperature

Brush a baking pan with some melted butter. Then, place a sheet of phyllo dough in the pan and brush it with butter. Repeat this process until you have used half of the phyllo dough

After that, evenly spread the chopped pistachios mixed with about two tablespoons of sugar and two tablespoons of orange blossom water over the layers, distributing them well

Then, place the remaining half of the phyllo dough, brushing each sheet with butter. Cut the baklava into squares or triangles (as desired), and then pour the remaining melted butter over the top

Then, place the baklava pan in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until it becomes crispy and golden brown

When the baklava comes out of the oven, pour the cold syrup evenly over it and let it absorb the syrup before serving
