Tiramisu is a famous Italian dessert characterized by layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and rich mascarpone cream. This dessert is considered a symbol of refined taste in the world of sweets
Ingredients
- 0.5 Cup of sugar
- 400 Gram of Mascarpone
- 300 Gram of Lady Fingers biscuits
- 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
- 0.5 Cup of milk
- 4 Piece of egg
- 300 Milliliter of Whipping cream
- 2 Cup of Espresso
- 4 Tablespoon of cacao
Instructions
-
1
In a bowl, put the sugar with the egg yolks only (we do not need the egg whites) and start whisking well. It is preferable to place the bowl over steam while whisking, and continue whisking until the mixture becomes creamy and light in color
-
2
In another bowl, put the mascarpone cheese, vanilla, and about half a cup of milk. Stir the ingredients continuously until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth
-
3
After that, add the cheese mixture to the egg yolk and sugar mixture, and stir well until all the ingredients are fully combined
-
4
In a large bowl, put the whipping cream and beat it well using an electric mixer until it reaches a relatively thick consistency
-
5
After that, add the previous mixture to the whipped cream and stir well until all the ingredients are fully combined
-
6
Prepare 2 cups of espresso (or instant coffee) and let it cool slightly
-
7
In a dish, spread 2 tablespoons of the prepared mixture evenly. Then, dip ladyfingers in the cooled coffee and distribute them evenly in the dish
-
8
Then, spread the mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth it out evenly. Next, create another layer of ladyfingers and spread the remaining mixture over them, smoothing it out until the surface of the tiramisu is level
-
9
Then, place the tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (preferably longer). After that, remove it from the fridge, dust it with cocoa powder, and serve chilled
