Waffles

Waffles are a crispy on the outside and soft on the inside treat, originally from Belgium. They are easily prepared and make a delicious addition to breakfast or a light snack, served with a variety of toppings such as fruits, honey, or chocolate.

Ingredients

  • Flour 2 Cup of Flour
  • sugar 2 Tablespoon of sugar
  • Baking powder 1 Tablespoon of Baking powder
  • egg 2 Piece of egg
  • milk 1 Cup of milk
  • oil 0.5 Cup of oil
  • Vanilla 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
  • Salt 0.5 Teaspoon of Salt

Instructions

    In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt

    In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the milk, oil, and vanilla. Whisk well using a hand whisk until the ingredients are fully combined

    After that, add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until you get a smooth batter. (You can thin the batter with water if it’s too thick)

    Next, heat the waffle iron and lightly grease it with butter or oil. Pour a portion of the batter into the iron and cook until the waffle turns golden and crispy

    Serve the waffles hot, topped with honey, fruits, chocolate, or Lotus spread, as desired
