Lemon chicken piccata

Chicken piccata is a traditional Italian dish characterized by its refreshing lemon sauce and capers. It originates from Italian cuisine and is also popular in American cuisine

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast 0.5 Kilogram of Chicken breast
  • Flour 1 Cup of Flour
  • Salt 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • Ground black pepper 1 Teaspoon of Ground black pepper
  • Butter 2 Tablespoon of Butter
  • Chicken broth 1 Cup of Chicken broth
  • Lemon 2 Piece of Lemon
  • Parsley 0.25 Cup of Parsley
  • Capers 0.25 Cup of Capers
  • olive oil 2 Tablespoon of olive oil

Instructions

    Wash the chicken breasts thoroughly, then cut each breast in half. Season them with salt and black pepper

    Sprinkle a little salt and black pepper on the flour, then coat each chicken slice with the flour mixture

    In a large skillet, heat the butter and oil over medium heat. Add the chicken slices and cook for 2 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside

    In the same skillet, add chicken broth or a cup of water and lemon juice. Let the mixture boil for 2-3 minutes. Then add the capers (optional) and let it cook for an additional minute. (You can also add a tablespoon of cooking cream, if desired)

    Next, add the chicken slices back to the skillet and let them cook for about 3 minutes to absorb the flavors. Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot
