Macarona Jaraya

Macarona Jaraya is a traditional Libyan dish consisting of pasta mixed with a rich, spiced tomato sauce, usually with pieces of meat. The sauce is known as "Jaraya" because it is somewhat liquid, which gives the dish a delicious and flavorful taste.
Ingredients
- 500 Gram of Ditalini
- 500 Gram of Meat
- 2 Tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 Piece of onion
- 1 Teaspoon of garlic
- 2 Cup of tomato juice
- 2 Tablespoon of Tomato paste
- 1 Teaspoon of Ground black pepper
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1 Teaspoon of Ground cumin
- 1 Teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat, then add the meat pieces and sauté them until browned on all sides. Add the chopped onion and stir well until it changes color, then add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute

After that, add the tomato juice and tomato paste, and stir well. Then, add the spices (salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili) and mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined. Let it simmer on the stove for 10 minutes

Next, add the boiling water and let the meat cook for about an hour or until it becomes tender

Once the meat is cooked, add the pasta and stir it well to combine with all the flavors. Let it cook with the meat for another 10 minutes, then serve hot
