Patatas Bravas

Patatas Bravas is one of the most popular Spanish tapas and is considered a traditional dish. It consists of fried potato pieces served with a spicy and distinctive sauce
Ingredients
- 4 Piece of potatoes
- 1 Piece of onion
- 1 Teaspoon of garlic
- 2 Tablespoon of olive oil
- 400 Gram of Tomato
- 1 Tablespoon of sugar
- 1 Tablespoon of Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder
- 1 Teaspoon of Ground black pepper
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt

Peel the potatoes, wash them thoroughly, and cut them into relatively large cubes

In a pan, heat the oil (preferably olive oil) over medium heat. Fry the potatoes until they are golden and crispy. Remove them and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Sprinkle with a little salt and black pepper

In another pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté, then add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and continue to sauté

Next, add the chopped or minced tomatoes, paprika, chili powder, and sugar. Let the sauce simmer gently over low heat until it thickens, about 10-15 minutes. Then, season with salt and black pepper to taste

Next, place the fried potato pieces on a serving plate and pour the sauce over them. It can be served as a side dish or as a tapa
